comeback post.

Hi everyone! I'm such a loser for not updating my blog for the longest time. Anyway, my comeback post would be this ootd I posted on instagram few weeks back.

Posted this since I think my leggings is so summer and summer is fast approaching. I love printed leggings in floral to be exact. I love how it looks cute and girly with the comfort. When wearing a printed leggings make sure to pair it with an elegant top to look classy and not trashy. Printed cotton leggings is a must have for summer since in breezy and looks just oh so trendy..

corporate dressing and some cheap finds

Ok, Since I'm already working as a Financial Adviser, my company requires me to wear corporate clothes to be more respectable. I love how I can wear blazer and some of my heels, since I used to be just laid back and in flats. Here's some of my take on corporate dressing. They're not really corporate like the ones working in the bank, but it looks professional to me atleast! hehehe

In here I wore a black and white dress and a thrifted blazer. i love how I can spot some great thrifted stuffs at a very low price. I got this blazer for only 50php, the fit is like tailored for me..

In this image I'm wearing a cute sailor collar teal top and a dark nice fitted jeans. Don't you just love how some great fitting jeans makes you look taller and long legged? Trust me I got this top for only 35pesos haha

In here I'm wearing a black high waist pants, mustard tank and a dotted cardigan. I know it's not that corporate but looks formal to me hehhehe

You can actually look professional and corporate without going all out, Head to toe corporate. You can pick just one item in your whole outfit that's formal or corporate-may it be the top or bottom. Just keep in mind that basic corporate dressing rules is not too much skin, or not to show skin at all, plus keep accessories classy and minimal- like the pearls I'm wearing in the first image. 

For thrifted finds make sure to clean and wash them properly, wash them with hot boiling water and antibac laundry soap :)

the comeback post

omg! I miss blogging. been very busy couple of months that I don't have time and inspiration to blog.. I will try my very best to make back logs with foods, places and some of my ootd... :) 

short hiatus

Pardon the short Hiatus, been very busy the past few days in preparation for holy week, BUUUUTTTT I'm so back now. Will blog about my holy week vacation and two events I've been to. Plus will post about my new camera which I bought very cheap on ebay- such a steal!! KEEP POSTED!!!

Temporary Relief

Had a reunion with College friends last Saturday. We had our dinner buffet at Pino Restaurant, warm brownie cup at La marea and stayed at Starbucks for awhile for some chitchat. What I love about us is that we always make it to a point to look good and glam whenever we see each other, talk about vanity and loads of pictures. I would like to extend my thanks to our former teacher who's now Pol.Sci chairman of University of San Carlos, Sir Poca for joining us and treating us for dinner. :)

Even if I'm a full time mom, I always make sure to spend some time with friends every now and then for temporary relief. Socializing with friends also helps you learn something new.

Chinese Wedding

Attended a Chinese Wedding last Monday. It was such a prior notice so I wasn't able to prepare an outfit. Going back to the wedding, I was culture shocked since its not our typical Filipino wedding. The couple is Chinese National, they're aliens here so to avoid huss - no legal authority or priest solemnized the wedding. Its like a gathering to announce the two are already married. Well from what I've heard, in China wedding is just like that, announcement and celebration only.No priest or judge needed. Wasn't able to take much picture because people might find me weird taking pictures of them. Most visitors are Chinese elites and business man from Cebu, some of them are from China.

Here's what I wore to the wedding, this is an impromptu outfit since I wasn't able to prepare one. Thank God for this maxi skirt which I bought for those "lazy days" when I can't think of something to wear, I thought this would be a perfect pair for those perfect white tee.

Don't you just love the versatality of this maxi skirt? When I bought this I thought it would only be for lazy days, but turned out to be glamorous and formal when matched with perfect accessories and shoes. You'll be surprise how much I got this, bought this at landmark for 280pesos. :))

sweet night at bonifacio high street

Went to bonifacio high street as part of my tour in manila, I've been to metro manila many times but I it was my first time to go to serendra since our house is situated in Quezon city so Bonifacio is kinda far. Well, I fell in love with the place and included to buy a unit there in my wishlist which I don't know if I can check it  hahaha... The place is child and pet friendly because of the open ground which you too will enjoy. This place is perfect for outfit post.

Anyone visiting metro manila should visit Bonifacio Highstreet, you'll get that "your not in the Philippines" feel in there. My bad wasn't able to try cupcakes by sonja since it was jampacked when we passed by and the cravings in me was already gone after dinner..
